Could be cute but not for me... The cinching at the hem makes them look like genie pants and they did not come with a lamp, I thought they were really to wide in the leg for the cinching. The color was more drab then I expected. I sent them back. Just not for me.

The fabric seemed a little thin at first, but I quickly found how comfortable they were for a little cooler summer weather that we've been having. I also wore them on a driving trip and found that they held up well to sitting for long periods of time.

But, they're a great product as most of the other Columbia garments that I've purchased in the past. Probably more true to size than other brands of "active wear" that I have bought. I'm 5'9" and they're long enough for me without cinching up the drawstrings on the side. They can be worn straight or with the legs pulled up for a cropped or capri length. This is a fun and unusual feature. The color is awesome, so much of what I wear is more earthtones, and these add some "pep" to an otherwise drab wardrobe that I currently own.
