The fabric is thin, which is not a bad thing, but if you are looking for a heavier long sleeved tee - look again. This top will be great for layering, or on a cool afternoon/evening. The only downside is that the shoulders are a little narrow in the way the shirt is cut. Since I'll be using this for hiking and more casual outings, the shoulder width is not an issue and it may stretch out.
