She loves to walk all around outside and her feet were getting scraped up from rocks, etc. I took them out of the box and she actually reached for them and sat patiently while I put them on (never happens - she is always on the go). The next day when she saw them she immediately picked one up and handed it to me - she wanted to wear them. I had bought several pairs of baby shoes prior to these and they were all stiff and made her little feet very hot. She would cry when I put them on her. These sandals protect her feet while still allowing them to get lots of air, and they are nice and light and flexible while still providing adequate support. I would have given them five stars except that the ankle straps do chafe at the top where her leg meets her foot in front. But overall I'm very glad I bought them. [...] these still cost less than any of the other shoes I bought - even at cheapo stores where the quality was very low.
