Nice jacket but wrong style, sizing By Baba B from Boston on 11/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Can be compressed, Comfortable, Fabric lovely feel, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Cons: too short, Waist and hips too small, Would prefer parka length Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wish this general jacket style came in longer version, parka-length, with a slight flare to accomodate some tummy and hips--We are not all svelte and slender. Am still looking for similar, longer-length highly packable light-weight insulating layer.
By MB from The Gorge on 10/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this coat to be more of a camping, hiking type jacket. I had read the reviews that it was boxy, and they were right. It will be fine, and warm, and water repellent, just not stylish cute.
By Boose from San Diego, CA on 10/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The torso fit is great and the jacket is extremely lightweight (9.25 oz for size SM). Sleeves are a little long, but good for pulling over my hands. Can't discuss the warmth of it yet - it's still 70 degrees here - but it fits well over a light sweater.
