Also, I bought the women's version for my wife, which is really cool, but the mens's is lacking hand pockets. I don't just mean that the pockets are only good for backpacking, I mean, they aren't there! If you are 6' or shorter, the large will probably fit just fine, but for the price, this jacket lacks the versatility you expect from this brand and this price point.

Arms are accurate and length is fairly high, near the waist. It's a very high quality, nice looking jacket that's great for outdoor athletic activity. Material is very nice and thick for a light jacket without being bulking or too warm. No hand pockets is the only thing I can say that might be negative.

The first issue was the lack of dedicated hand pockets. There are two napoleon pockets high on the chest, but no standard hand pockets. If you wear gloves this could be no problem.
There is a stow-away hood in the collar that is a thin, stretch material that fits like a skull cap. This would work great under a helmet, but not on its own.
The full chest zipper is left hand oriented, which is no problem but made me think for a second.
The problem that I can't get over is the pit zippers. These are more upper arm vents as they do not reach past the shoulder into "the pits." They vent well, but inside the sleeves the zippers are bare, meaning the coarse fabric the zipper is attached to will rub against your arms. But worst is that the bare, pointy end of the zipper constantly jabs and rakes your arm. It's as though the manufacturer forgot a step in the zipper adding process, the "cover the zipper's bare points" step. It's hard to describe other than to say it's incomplete. Wearing a short sleeve shirt did not cover the zipper, and I'm afraid that wearing a long sleeve shirt under the jacket may cause snagging and eventually tear the under shirt.
I'll be returning what could have been a great jacket.
