By dtd from Seattle, WA on 09/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stabilize feet, They breathe well Best Uses: Running and walking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk long distances and have now taken up walking. These shoes were recommended for people who pronate. Stabil Grid 6 are very good for helping relieve this problem.
By Sauconey Fan from Piseco NY on 09/28/2009 Cons: Heel disintegrating, Shoe very stiff and rigid, Toe Box narrow Best Uses: Treadmill workout Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a long time runner (30+ years) and have been a Sauconey fan for almost all of those years. I buy their running shoes because they are well constructed and usually combine the support and cushioning I need as well as a wide toe box. This model was disappointing in all of those areas. The most surprising aspect, however, is the disintegration of the heel which leaves a black soot like mark on rugs and other items against which the shoe rubs immediately after use. Although I have commonly experienced wear of the heel I have never experienced disintegration before. I am still a Sauconey fan and will continue to buy their shoes. After all, one bad experience out of more than forty purchases isn't a bad track record.
