These are narrow and long, but the ankle straps are much too long in proportion to the shoe...but someone with thick ankles probably couldn't ram a foot into the narrow shoe. Weird proportions

These sandals are perfect for wide feet; they are easy to walk in and feel good to wear. I wear an 8 1/2, so I ordered a 39 and there is still some room in the sandal. For the price, these shoes are a fantastic bargain!
