By NW gardener from Washington state on 07/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore these shoes when visiting a local sawmill and loading my pickup with firewood. The ground was rough with lots of scattered wood. I really liked how well the traction on these shoes are for such conditions. While they didn't give me the protection of my leather hiking boots, they performed very well. They are great!
By lyssyp from Concord, NC on 06/24/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Durable, Great Traction Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, At The Gym, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Camper, Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The reviews I read about these shoes were spot on.
The toe box is alittle wide for my foot but I just tightened the laces and they are fine. They have really great traction, we have been getting alot of rain in NC and I had to bang dirt off them after a night of hanging by muddy bonfire!! Never slipped at all! I also work at a gym and they work out fine for a quick jog or bike ride.
