They fit well, look good and have a roomy toe box but the fabric is heavier than I was hoping for. Still recommend...especially for cooler weather.
A good trail running shoe By punkin from Jasper, AL on 06/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like trail running and hiking shoes because I have flat feet, and shoes of this kind tend to provide excellent arch and ankle support. These are good shoes and do give me the support I need, but I also have very narrow heels, so I need to wear fairly thick socks with these shoes. I have an older pair of Nike trail running shoes, and I can wear much thinner socks with those. I also have to double-tie the laces on these, but that's not all that unusual for me. The toe box on these is very roomy and very solid, which I love.
