By Monkey from Prescott, AZ on 08/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a combination working/hiking shoe. Ten hours on concrete floors, and my feet feel good. These shoes are very stable, and have great traction.
By comfort hound from Lafayette CO on 08/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Low profile around ankle, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love these! It took three tries to get the size right, but I am glad I persisted. I wear a 7.5 and followed the sizing recommendations to no avail. The long and short of it: I ended up with the 39 (that is a 7.5+) and they fit perfectly. They felt sturdy and stable when I took them out for a maiden voyage: a 2 mile walk on a dirt trail. No break-in time for these beauties. Five stars would have been given if they were also water resistant.
