I do have a shorter inseam and these are one of the few lines i don't have to have hemmed. fit is similar to Arcteryx "short". the wool facing on the breathable softshell is brilliant and IBEX is making some amazing stuff, but yes, the fit can be wierd. While the waist fit, the inseam was too short. They looked like great pants for winter use otherwise, but we had to send them back--wrong size for him.
