By Tall woman sitting a lot at the computer from near Seattle on 11/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Lightweight, Soft, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Wear To Work Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a sweater-cape, best for wearing indoors with the heat turned down a bit, or outdoors in moderate weather. It drapes beautifully, fits my 5'9" frame well, falling several inches lower in the back than the front. The ruffles look great, and I'm not prone to ruffles. It looks a bit casual-dressy. Not suitable to wear while cooking (I tried, briefly!). It is light enough that you can wear it under a coat by folding the sides up over your shoulders, then drop the sides and wear it instead of a sweater indoors. The cape-iness is not a problem typing or doing general office work (just cooking). Has no fasteners, but stays on securely. Probably looks very nice over a dress for evenings out, but I haven't tried that.

Soft and thick and elegant, and super high quality. I haven't worn it out yet as it's still summer, but it feels warm. I think it will be great for fall, spring and all but the worst days of winter. If you want a look that's different, if you're bored with regular coats and jackets, or just want something easy to throw over anything from a dressy gown to a pair of jeans, this is great to try. I plan to wear it with either a scarf (as shown in the pic) or maybe a big pin. I can't wait for the cold weather.
