Convinced by Cocona & Izumi By Travois from Houston, TX on 10/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Cocona, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight, Vented mesh panels, Wicking Best Uses: Heat, Mountain Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm not a big fan of synthetics, but I have a newfound respect for Cocona. I know you're not supposed to try out new gear in a big event. Despite this sound advice, I first wore this in the Hotter Than Hell 100. After spending the summer training in cotton tees and a worn out Capilene, this was a treat.
Cutting down on wind resistance and increased wicking was my hope. I stayed cool and didn't notice a buildup of sweat or odor. The pockets comfortably held my selection of road fuel and were easy to access. Sturdy, stretchy, well-constructed. A high compliment is to say that I didn't notice I was wearing it & kept it on hours after I finished.
There are slightly different cuts in the seasons. I got the Lime/Bluebird and this year is nicely fitted -- sleek.
After this performance, I bought a Pearl Izumi Fly Top here -- also made with Cocona -- which I plan to use for running.

Good fit, good storage pockets and comfy fit.
Good quality, basic bike shirt By MN Biker from Minneapolis, MN on 09/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As usual, Pear Izumi has made another quality shirt. It is longer in the back which is nice - you don't expose yourself during long rides! The map pocket is nice but don't let them fool you, I still got my map sweaty.
