The gal was right. There is a big gap by the back of the waist. Too bad because the style and material was what I was looking for. Sent it back.

(mid knee cap) The waist was a tad big, but it was a quick fix with the sewing machine. It is hard to see in the photo, but there is a small slit at the knee and one on the outside of the knee. Makes these shorts very comfortable for sitting, as there is no constriction at the knees.
