By god7 from San Rafael, CA on 09/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Beach, Car Camping, Hiking, Mountaineering What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Poor directions. Only written step by step. They need pics or diagrams then written explanations. I tried to set it up the first time without the fly and became confused by the directions. Once I set it up though it proves to be a very functional tent. Enough room and covered storage outside the entrance. Very durable. I expect this to last some time.
By sexy tree time from Graton,Ca on 08/05/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Sturdy Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My first trip was to Burney Falls California for three days in early August. On the second day it rained with heavy lightning and thunder through the night. I was dry and comfotable all night.
By Bicycle tripper from Gainesville, FL on 04/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Double entry improves air, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Huge floor space, Sturdy Best Uses: Car Camping, SAG supported bicycle tou Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The weight is a big problem for my intended use. Uncertain if I will keep this, as I can not use this tent for self-supported bicycle touring. Would be great for car camping. Was interested in the ability to set up in the wet and have a dry tent.
