"One size doesn't fit all" By None from Atlanta, Georgia on 10/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this item on special. It appears to perform as advertised but it does not fit me. So I had to return it.
By Jimmy from Minneapolis, MN on 10/13/2009 Best Uses: Fresh Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The sewing on one of the cloth hinges was ripped out. It looks like a repair had been attempted on an original production defect but it didn't work. Not a big deal but it's quite a let down when you purchase a great item, only to find a defect.
By JM from Tennessee on 09/17/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Functional Cons: Difficult To Use, Poor Design Best Uses: Fresh Water, Traveling Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not a bad piece of gear, but seems like it might be designed for bigger guys. Im 5'11, 200lbs and had to cinch the waist straps all the way down to keep it from slipping off my shoulder. Other than the fit though, the pack performed as expected. Plenty of room for a good selection of flies and tippet, plus extra space for tools, food, a packable jacket and some water. Has held up well after a summer of use, and I have no plans whatsoever to replace it.
