By Unhappy doesn't begin to describe it from VA on 10/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: VERY disappointed in STP. This seat post has been extensively used, so much that many of the markings on the post have been worn off and the bolt to the clamp is all rusted! They sent me a heavily USED product, and now they have none left. Awful quality control.

I've heard horror stories of carbon mtb posts; broken, slipping, scratches, etc.. I've had none of these problems. It took a little work to get the right tension on the clamp but I've put 100 plus miles on it now and no problems. I ride all single track and it really softens the bumbs on my hardtail. I run Easton post, stem, and bar. They all work great. Thanks STP!!!!!
