Batteries don't hold a charge. By dchief154 from San Antonio, TX on 08/10/2009 Pros: Good concept, Well constructed Cons: Batt don't hold charge Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am currently awaiting my third handwarmer. The battery pack did not hold a charge on the first two I received. Cheapest replacement battery pack that I could find is $40.00. [...] Hope the next one works.
By Carltonmd from south bend, IN on 05/28/2009 Cons: Did not work at all got Best Uses: Great in the cold Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: 10 day fishing trip in the upper Pen. of Michigan for walleye. Inferno did not work at all. Ordered a second one thinking the first one was defective, the second one did not work. How frustrating
New Review after returning first one By Limit in 10 from Wyoming on 01/23/2009 Best Uses: Cold Climate, Small Game Hunting, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I reviewed this prior and it didn't work, the new one works fine, I just hope the battery will last a while. It gets pretty warm which is just what I wanted. Have to be careful not to forget to take it off when going in the river. Not too heavy at all. This will be great when I don't want to wear gloves and only need my hands for shooting.
