I haven't gone out in any torrential downpours to test the waterproof feature yet, but it stands up in light rain. It also fits very well. The sleeves are long enough, and the shoulders are not restricting. I also have trouble finding jackets that are long enough in the torso area, this one fits! Great value for the price. And it's cute, too! :)
