The mesh fabric is comfortable and stretchy, and the half-zip permits rapid cool-downs. Love the original, but this one, also a medium, fails to adequately cover the shoulders. Clearly, there is inconsistency in sizing within a single product line. Since use while kayaking or running was the principal motivator to purchase the second one, I am reluctantly returning. However, this should fit well on individuals who are not broad-shouldered.
