I will put these boots to the test By alaskan granny from Fairbanks, AK on 10/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Live in the sub arctic, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a high arch and wide feet, could get in the boots with no problem. Many boots do not fit me. These are easy to get on, which is important when you wear them for several months during the winter. My job takes me in and out of the office, so I will use them a lot.
Salomon Snowtrip Winterboots By Tahoe Hiker from San Francisco / Lake Tahoe on 09/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Snow Trecking, Snowshoeing, Walking the Dog, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the second pair, I had to send the first one back because it was to tight. Let me preface this with the fact that I have very wide feet with a high arch. I like this boot because it has arch suport for winter hikes. I love my Sorrels but my feet get tired because of the lack of support I like this boot for snowshoeing and snow hiking with the dog. It is warm, waterproof and has support with out looking like something that the Abominable Snowman would wear. Plus the price is great!
By Cold Feet from Macedonia, South Europe on 09/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these boots. Granted, it's August and I haven't had snow to try them in, but they are extremely comfy and I like the look too. The insole is like a tennis shoe and even up the ankle, the padding feels good. And of course, it's hard to beat Salomon's reputation. I expect these to be warm and have great traction. I'm hoping to buy another pair. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!
