trim fit, excellent quality By GenevieveII from Twin Cities, MN on 10/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Weight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't hang onto this one, thinking it would feel constrictive across the chest when wearing layers for warmth (when the pit zips were closed that is). The main zipper, which curves to the side near the neckline, creates a charming style feature. One feature I preferred in the jacket which I selected instead of this one was a fabric liner which seemed like it would facilitate breathability and might better protect the Gore-tex from friction over time (I suppose I can't be sure of that however).
By Zog from Bellevue, WA on 08/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets Best Uses: Extreme Conditions, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is a typical Arcteryx, well-built and depending on what you bought, great for the outdoors. I live in the NW where it's wet and soggy, especially when skiing so this jacket is perfect. Nice to not have the zipper flapping on my chin. The fit is athletic without being oversized, so any layering must also fit fairly close to the body. I'm 5'10" and the large is long enough in the sleve, which is usually a problem for me and womens clothing. Overall two thumbs up.
By Power Walker from East Coast on 05/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Weight, Stylish Best Uses: Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a good jacket, but feels stiff and the collar is high. Great in wet weather but not my favorite Arcteryx jacket. It's also a noisy jacket and makes a loud swishing sound, but its advantages outweigh its disadvantages. It also runs smaller at the waist.
