High quality rod at half price! By PCB from Canada on 12/29/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Rod is a beautiful rod, clearly of high quality. Feels like fast action. I purchased this for my daughter for Xmas. It goes very well with the Ross 5 wt reel, nicely balanced combination. Not a beginner rod.

By Richie from Colorado Springs,Co on 10/02/2009 Pros: Good Looks, nice quality, Nice soft action Cons: Reel seat not to pretty Best Uses: Great for fine tippet, Great for wet flies Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice rod ,used this past weekend,worked great.This is a soft action(slow) rod,fished soft hackle on the swing,and worked great!I even caught and landed two brown trout on the same cast,one on the dropper and one on the point fly!
