It is a nice sweater for layering in cool to cold weather but not really thick so probably not warm enough without a jacket in 40 degree weather or colder. It is not a fitted sweater so not a sexy type fit - more for utility with a nice look. I was very happy with it but if you are looking for a fitted look - this would not be it.
