By Buffalo's Cold from Buffalo, NY on 10/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: A bit too tight, Irregular Size, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: All-around winter coat, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Originally ordered a medium, but had to go to a large. Even with the large I wish it was a bit more roomy between the shoulders. Also the seams on inside of sleeves of liner are a bit itchy on bare skin. You get what you pay for and for the price, I'm satisfied. If I had paid the full [$] I would be disappointed.
By Sofa from Virginia on 10/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was excited to get this jacket. I wasn't sure whether to get the medium or the large. I typically wear a medium, but didn't want it to be too snug. I decided to go to a local sporting goods store and try on the Columbia brand interchangeable jackets so I could get an idea of which jacket to order. Trying on the jackets in advance was definitely helpful! The medium fits great. I got the blue jacket and it looks really nice. The liner is also blue, but darker than the jacket. I've been wearing the jacket without the liner so far and it's great for the fall weather. I think with the liner it will be great for winter!
By Snowlove from Denver on 10/23/2009 Cons: Bulky, Constricts Movement Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat looked super cute on me, but I felt like the inner fleece was too tight on my arms and constricted my movement. The whole coat felt a bit bulky. The shell alone was nice, but not insulated. The fleece alone was a little snug and not particularly warm. I would recommend this for someone looking for a heavy winter coat, someone that wants a lot of options for a minimal price, and someone that wants too look good but doesn't mind the weight of the coat. Skinny arms would probably help, too.
