It's a little bit stiff, but I think it will become more flexible after it's washed. The material is soft, and the insulated micro-diamond quilting not only looks pretty, but provides warmth and wind resistance. I am a size 4, but bought a medium and am glad I did. The princess cut makes it smaller around, so--even with layering--it still looks trim. The faux fur collar also adds to the "dressier" look.
