These are great shoes for walking! By Brooks the Walker from Boston, MA on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Walking the dog Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk 40-50 minutes a night with my dog and these shoes are holding up beautifully! They are extremely comfortable and durable. There was no "breaking in" period, they are ready to go! I would highly recommend these and would definitely buy another pair.
Rugged style in a sleek, comfy package! By Stylish comfort girl from Boulder, CO on 10/21/2009 Pros: Cute and comfortable, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The supple leather and long lacing allow for great adjustment, even no break-in for my bunion. They're so comfy right off - lightweight and nice and "bendy" but have a decent sole with good traction. Without socks they're not that warm, but I haven't had the opportunity to test them in really warm weather. With Smartwool socks they're nice and medium warm. I'm considering adding a shearling or other insole for colder weather. I think they'll cover a lot of seasons. And they look cute and not clunky on my big feet! Don't know yet how durable, but they seem good quality, Patagonia is a good brand and the price is great!
