Fantastic value in a water proof shoe By Sun Devil fan from San Tan Valley, AZ on 09/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great traction, No break in needed, True to size, Water Proof Cons: Laces came untied easily Best Uses: All day walking hiking, Casual water, Light rain Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them on a couple of 2 mile walks before leaving for a two week trip to Alaska. I wore them nearly everyday for the two weeks. No problems at all. I even played golf in them on a muddy, wet course where I was literally standing in water on the fairway to address the ball. Only problem I had was the need to double tie the laces, as they tended to come undone. Otherwise, a really great shoe. I highly recommend them.

Stiff enough body for support, but soles are flexible enough for running. I wish they could put some differnet type of laces in them because unless they are double knotted, they will come untied without much tugging on the tag ends. Other than that great shoe forthe money.
