Most slippers are completely flat and essentially not comfortable. This shoe is far better than most slippers I've encountered.
The warm and fuzzy lining is likely to compress and make the shoe even larger and more sloppy-casual than someone would want outside the home. Despite the recommendation to buy up a size if you are a half size, I was much happier when I finally got my pair down a size.
