By Jaka from San Francisco, CA on 11/11/2009 Pros: Arch comfort, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am used to waterproofing Suede, so no problem there. The construction is good even tho made in China. I live in a rain climate, only visit really cold climates. I think these will be warm and cozy in the house, good for winter and travel (warm feet), they do feel good barefeet. Any shoes made in China are unpredictable for sizing, so try different sizes. I read the warnings about ICE, so I will use caution if I am in that climate. The soles look good but the CROW boots are the really heavy duty Ice/Snow Traction boots. I wish they weren't out of the tall boots!
By Cold Feet Carole from Northeast US on 10/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the firm bottom of the sole with contours that should provide good traction. Meanwhile, the fleece inside promises to keep my feet warm, with good insulation between the bottom of my feet and the cold outdoors.
