I have several different bags plus every size of this tote. I find the small is great as a large purse, the medium is great for my cycling gear so its packed before I race out of the door, and this size is great for weekend trips or a long stay at the gym. I find all the little pockets on the outside extremely helpful which is what the early model from Vietnam had seriously lacked. The tote has more of a female feel then the messengers do.

I work, carrying a computer, books to read while commuting, my gym stuff, and I stop off at the supermarket on the way home. It all disappears into the bag, it's big and yet looks ok over my shoulder, and it;s still shallow enough for me to find everything easily. Bombproof build, like everything Timbuk2. Timbuk2 rocks!
