By Ktap from Chapel Hill, NC on 10/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Getting Started Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these and I really like the way they look. I read a review before I bought them that said that they were a little big in the back if you bend down in them, leaving a space for snow to fall in. They do this with me too but they also have side straps that you can pull to make them tighter in the waist. I also just plan on wearing a really long shirt to tuck into the pants when I snowboard. I haven't had a chance to use them yet but am excited to use them this December in VT!
Cute, but you better not fall... By Liz from San Diego, CA on 09/12/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Low rise Impractical Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The first pair I ordered were a large, as I believed these would run small being a youth oriented snowboard brand. I wear a 10 or 12 in misses' pants, 11 or 13 in junior's. When I got these the waist was HUGE, maybe 35 inches? And I do have a thick waist, but these were swimming on me. They have belt loops but even with a belt they bunched up real funny. I exchanged them for mediums, which fit well but were too low rise in the back. They have no stretch and when I squat down, they form a big gap in the back just waiting to fill with snow when I inevitably fall. Maybe you just have to be really good to wear these pants, or if you just want to look cute and hang out at the lodge they would fit the bill. I was really disappointed in the fit, because they really are super cute (my favorite shade of green! sigh), and they are unlined which is nice for skiing in So Cal "winters". Too bad hey have to go back!
