By iDeserve Stuff from Colorado on 11/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love them. Mine stay up just fine without slouching down (maybe the other reviewer got a bad pair?), and they are amazingly comfortable. The left one is a little tighter than the right one though, with the pair I received. They're very warm, and that's a "con" to me, since my feet get too hot indoors. But all -20 and -40 degree boots do that, so if that's what you're after, these are your boots. I think they're great and worth a try.
By Jolie from New York on 10/13/2009 Cons: Bulky, Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was very disappointed with these boots. I had heard so much of Pajar quality. This combined with the fact that they looked so fashionable for a winter boot with a nice heal, I bought them. But the reality is that the heal/sole is all rubber and bulky/heavy for this sort of boot, the upper suede lacks detail and makes your foot look large, worst of all is that the upper part does not hug your leg, it's loose and bunches down (I have avg. size calves, maybe if you have large calves this would hold up). Because of this and the contrast with the hard rubber bottom getting your foot in is tricky. I am an 8 usually, I got an 8 1/2, the fit would have been fine with a additional winter sole, but I think without that, an 8 would have been fine, so they seem to fit true to size. These are unfortunately going back...
