Not a skier, but do some snowshoeing and a lot of walking. This hat seems perfect and it fits well, considering I have a small head. The colors are prettier than as shown onling.

Unfortunately my husband tossed it in the dryer on accident and it shrunk a little bit. I can still wear it, but it's a little snug. I was happy to see it on sale on STP!So I got another one.
The wool is super warm and the soft Turtle Fur lining keeps it from being itchy. And it's warm!! I use it when I walk to work in the winter, I use it when I sleep camping, winter adventure races, hiking -- anywhere I want my head warm, I wear it!
I love the tassle and the long ear-flap strings. They're fun, and the ear-flap strings are functional - I tie them loosely when in my sleeping bag in the winter so it doesn't fall off as I roll around.
