I like the bottom part and the thickness and color but they leave a ridge on my lower calf. Will still wear them but hope they don't shrink.

They are very warm, comfortable and have a nice pattern on them. I plan to purchase more as gifts for Christmas (and more for myself!).
Not in the same class as SmartWool By Annie from NYC on 11/04/2009 Cons: Ankle too stiff, Bulky Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I won't be buying any more of this sock. It's a pretty design, but it's just not a comfortable sock. It's too thick for everyday use (much thicker, for instance, than most of my "casual" SmartWool socks). The annoying thing, though, is that it's not nearly as stretchy as it needs to be. It doesn't move well with the foot and ankle. Be aware as well that it has about a gazillion little tiny loose threads inside, because of the way the pattern is woven in. I'll stick with other brands in the future.
