By CIG from Madison, WI on 07/17/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Cons: Long Break-in, Too Stiff/Not Flexible Best Uses: Harsh Terrain, Heavy Loads, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They are a little stiff to start with, but they are starting to break in with a few miles on them. They appear really well made and they should last a really long time. No rubbing or hot spots, so the fit is really good. No shifting around in the heel or toe. My past hikers always had these issues.
