The wear, style, feel and comfort of the boot is very good so far, but they are not as stiff a leather as traditional work boots. With that said, they are a good boot for someone who works around construction and also in an office but not a true work boot.

I tried sliding in a pair of aftermarket insoles (blue, not green) and now I'm keeping the boots. Great non-slip outer soles, nice fit in the toebox (not too pointed) and nice stitching detail without being too crazy. All-around a good daily wear boot that won't slip when things get muddy or snowy. It would be nice if they came with good arch supporting insoles, but at a STP sale price, you can afford to splurge on the insoles after the fact and STILL get a great deal.
