Fabric reminds me of my mom's stretch knit shorts back in the 60's. It will snag easily, so I'll have to be careful. Definitely allow for unrestricted movement. The inseam is the length described, which I was happy to find, as I am 5'9" and long-legged. They do ride up a bit when exercising, so about another inch in length would be nice, but I guess that would be expecting a lot as these are not sized "Tall" or "Long". Overall a good buy.
