At first I thought I might return them because of the unusual look - but they are way too comfortable. My feet are very sensitive and I was able to wear these shoes all day without a major problem on the first day.

They are incredibly comfortable on my very fussy, hard to fit feet. I wear a size 6 1/2, am somewhere between a B and C in width, have almost no natural padding on my feet, and have a very high instep and arch. I bought the size 37 and they feel like they were custom made for my feet. Since the strap across the top is adjustable, these would probably work for various arch/instep types. Because I have such a hard time finding shoes that work for me, I was astounded when I first slipped these on - shoes are rarely, if ever, this comfortable on me - especially since I usually have to use all sorts of inserts and orthotics to make a pair of shoes bearable - these are perfect all on their own!
