By William from Nashville, TN on 10/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: STP...bar none, is THE way to go when buying high end gear. This is last year's model Arcteryx Atlas SV (w/ all the features of the latest model)-for a steal!
This is the warmest (and driest) jacket I've ever owned! Yes...Gore-Tex is king for staying dry, but I have to say - not a leak in this unit (in a pretty heavy downpour.) Also, not a need for that bulky midlayer. Nice.
By stylish student from new jersey on 09/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Collar stands too tall Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The waterproof hood tucks into the collar causing the collar to stand straight up and extends to the middle of the ear.
