It wasn't as soft as I first expected, but wears great. I live in rainy SE Alaska, and the fabric works well for an everyday layer.

Narrow in the hips and proportionally larger in the shoulders. I am small (size 2-4) and with narrow hips, but i could barely get in and out of the fleece with ease. For the price, had to send all 3 back!
