It doesnt feel good to bare feet, so the hallway was out. It did match the couch very well. The cat and dog fight over who gets to sleep on it. It has withstood the pets where other rugs snag. I do love jute for its durability. I think this could be used as a doormat.

Perhaps outdoors only? If I put this at the door, my guests first step into my home would send them flying.
