perfectly described by STP By Casey from Afghanistan on 08/31/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have just retired an extremely durable marmot soft shell and am currently in Afghanistan with 20th Special Forces Group. As all patagonia jackets have been to me, this is very comfortable, and soft. Although it's still too hot here currently, I'm not planning on taking this out on missions to see what kind of beating it will take, ha not sure if it's because it's too comfortable or just that it doesn't feel up to the challenge. This one is built for comfort, not the elements.

Even works for cool Summer nights on the Lake Michigan.
