By Karen the quilter from Visalia, CA on 11/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the Cloudveil products but these pants are way too long. Can't resist the great price so I'll keep them.
By Likes to Travel from CA on 10/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, Washes Well Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants were a size 8, but were a little too tight in the waist and back seam in the rise was tight. I usually wear an Ann Taylor size 4 or a Dockers size 6. The color was good. This would be a good pant for travel to a warm climate where you want to wear a pair of long pants.
Perfect cooler weather hiking pants By Mountain flosser from Golden, CO on 09/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Best Uses: Hiking and climbing Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cloudveil makes really nice stuff so I always look for it at Sierra Traders. They seem to have either made this pant a little smaller than usual, or they have adjusted their general sizing; I usually wear a 10 in their pants, but that was too tight for this model and a 12 fit perfectly. Pants are always too long for me but I can sew so that's no problem.
I don't have much of a waist and it fits me perfectly, but if you are someone with a more typical difference between your hip size and a skinny waist, you may find that CloudVeil in general leaves you with some waistband gap. This is why I stated that the waistband feels big since I think it would for women who are more "female shaped" than I am. I love them though, they really work for me.
They do have a tab system so you can roll up the legs to a high capri length; I think that could be handy on warmer days and I don't find the tabs to be distracting or strange-feeling.
