just what I was looing for By acmc from Idaho on 03/06/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Boating, Paddling, Rafting Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: rained 3 days & nights on rafting trip, our so called splash gear leaked. Needed lightweight jacket with hood & sealed seams to keep dry, on and off the water. Extrasport is a brand I can trust!
By greenscales from Carlsbad, CA on 12/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Colder Water, Fishing, Lobstering, Paddling Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A ton of features. Waterproof/zippered slots on the side act as vents or inserting hands for warmth - great feature. The wrist Velcro won't sinch up enough/allowing water to drip down on long upswings with the paddle. I purchased this specifically for layering during wide temp swings kayaking in San Diego for lobster or sea bass. First early AM trip out allowed me to easily remove inner sweater as it warmed up and put back on in the afternoon winds while in the kayak on the water. Most splash/dry tops are dificult to remove and put back on while on the water.
versatile, waterproof, light and robust. By tobestofmyknowledge from New York, NY on 12/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off, Light, Versatile Cons: No neck and waist seals Best Uses: Bicycling, Boating, Hiking, running, Skiing Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket would take water from top and waist if rolled during kayaking. I use jackets with neck and waist seals for that.
I purchased this for bicycle commuting.
Entrant is a good light and waterproof material.
