The side zipper under the arm makes the fit streamlined and not baggy as some empire fitting tops. Details on the blouse speak to it's quality -- 5 buttons on the cuff (can be worn to the wrist or turned up to make it almost a 3/4 sleeve. If you prefer your empire blouses to be more loose, I'd go one size up from your normal. This fits like a dress blouse, but with a casual look which I like very much. I am going to try this brand again!!! I love what it does for one's figure -- works great on pear shapes like me!!!
