Neat feature! The mountains are kind of hard to make out, but we like this leash. Great value for the price.
By red grandma from NYS on 09/14/2009 Pros: Attractive, Good Grip Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this because I sometimes need to tie my dog to a tree temporarily and I was intrigued by the concept. My 65 lb puppy stays put when tied up but I don't know if the carabiner would hold up if he really decided to bolt. I believe this leash is intended for medium dogs, so that might be the problem.
It seems more secure to take the leash off the dog, place it around the tree and through the handle loop of the leash, then reattach to collar.
