I use them for outdoor activities in the cooler weather. I even use them on short treks on the back of my Hubby's Harley. Since I don't always wear a helmet on the ride (no helmet law in Phx) I have to turn them so the band is under my chin so they do not fly off. They are soft and comfy. Sometimes they fall off if the activity is too vigorous since my head is on the smaller size.
