By Addiopolis from Southwest Virginia on 12/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Wear, Hiking, Snow Sports, Travel, Working outdoors Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for winter wear to replace some icebreaker pants that I had last year. These are even better. The shaping is great, contributing to a very comfortable fit. They are warm and soft like almost every other icebreaker product that I've had. Right now, I primarily wear them alone under jeans, or with additional layers, while selling Christmas trees.
Nice lower rise, not very stretchy By Comfortably stylish girl from Boulder, CO on 12/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm approx 5'7" 126 lbs and ordered the medium based on a previous review. I really like that they sit below the waist. I can't take the waist any looser but the legs aren't very stretchy and I can only just get the bottoms over my size 10 feet. I would've liked a little more stretch. More sleek than soft but not scratchy. Thinner than my Smartwool bottoms and will fit better under city pants for a lighter weight option. I haven't actually worn them outside yet, so not sure how warm/breathable they are, but Icebreaker is great, so I'm not worried about that. They're not "the best ever" but so far they're keepers.
By Kettlebell Queen from Long Beach on 12/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Wear, Hiking, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Icebreaker makes top quality stuff. These are no exception. First rate.
Soft, good fit and durable. I like the fact that these have a lower rise than some of their underwear in previous years. This makes the fit under jeans work very well.
