By outforfun from Cold Spring, MN on 02/15/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Pronation Control Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Followed the recommedation for ordering slightly larger and they fit and felt good right out of the box. They haven't been worn enough to rate durability. I have a problem with pronation and these shoes seem like they will help stablilized my feet.
By Sierra Trekker from Tehachapi CA. on 01/31/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, No Break-in, Pronation Control Best Uses: Backcountry, Trail running Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have two trails in my home town that I use,one is a 3.25 mile trail with a lot of mix, this is the trail I have used the shoes on and they did great even in mud.The other trail is a 6 mile round trip up Tehachapi Mountain at 7,898 ft.I will test the shoes on this one in the spring, due to the snow I just hike up it now.
By fngfish from Phoenix, az on 01/03/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Pronation Control Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these type of shoes for day hikes and trail running around phoenix. The rocks just tear up shoes. This is the only shoe for trail running that really covers motion control. This shoe is comparable to the brooks beast for road shoes. I'm not twisting my ankle so far in these shoes. Too bad someone else wrote that this model is discontinued.
